Alessio di Sabatino, born in Rome Italy, moved in Los Angeles, California in 1993.
He has been working in the restaurant business for 32 years, starting as a busboy at the Beverly Hills Country Club, then at Il Cielo restaurant in Beverly Hills as a waiter. At Caffe Roma, in rodeo drive, worked as a waiter/bartender.
He moved to Orange County and worked at Amici Ristorante in South Coast Plaza as a waiter.
Then at Tuttomare in Fashion Island, Newport Beach, and at Villa Roma in Lake Forrest as a manager. He became general manager at Valentina in Mission Viejo.
In 2007, strong of the experience built in years of working in the hospitality industry, he open his first owned restaurant called Francesca Italian Kitchen and he learns the art of being a chef.
He sold the restaurant just before the Covid pandemic started in 2020, and he moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where he opened Sabatinos Italian Restaurant. In 2023 he brought authentic Italian cuisine to the Black Hills, and he opened Pizza by Sabatinos, an Italian pizzeria with Neapolitan-style pizza.
He was lucky to serve famous people from Dr. Drew, Jerry Buss and his family, Allen Craig, Natalie King Cole, Jamie Lee Curtis, Joe Pesci, Dennis Rodman, Jose Canseco, Governor Kristy Noem, Edward James Olmo, Vicky Gunvalson, Priscilla Presley, Fabio Robert Shapiro, and many others.
